Q. “Can diabetics take Hydralyte?”
A. Hydralyte contains 1.5g glucose per 100ml (1.5%). This is a small amount of glucose and is considered safe as part of an overall daily diet. When unwell with diarrhoea or vomiting, it is important to supply the body with some glucose, even for people with diabetes. Hydralyte provides glucose and electrolytes. Blood glucose levels should be monitored at this time – consult your doctor if unsure.
